Cirtech Electronics is pleased to announce that they are now an official southern Africa agent for Displaytronics, a Xiamen Zettler Electronics company.

The Displaytronics product range includes LCD modules, transformers, sensors and relays.

The LCD range covers virtually every application that one would require an LCD or TFT display for. It includes backlit LEDs, chip on board, chip on glass, graphic modules, character modules and touch panel displays.

Displaytronic products are used by manufacturers of domestic products and consumer electronics; telecommunications products; service distribution equipment and metering and monitoring equipment. They also supply the automotive market with products from basic LCD readouts through to TFT displays for GPS units.

The Displaytronic range of backlit LCD units is particularly impressive. Displays can be set up with a number of different combinations of display colours and backgrounds. This enables the user to select the ultimate display setting for the environment that he is operating in.

The latest products in the LCD range feature completely black backgrounds with the total blanking of unlit segments. As shown in the comparison below, there can be no mistaking a 3 for an 8 as there is no reflection or transmission of light through unlit segments.

The full range of Xiamen Zettler products supplied by Cirtech are built to perform in virtually all conditions.

The operating temperature range is from -30°C to 80°C which will handle almost any extremes users in South Africa are likely to encounter.

Xiamen Zettler who?

In the electronics world, Zettler is a long established and greatly honoured name. The original company, Zettler Elektrotechnische Fabrik, was started in Germany in 1877 by Alois Zettler.
