ABOUT NCAB GROUP The NCAB Group is a decentralised organization with a very high degree of local time zone & language decision-making power, supported by centralised support functions. This way of working frees up time and resources for the local companies to fully focus on all customer requirements. This is where Cirtech comes in. We are your direct link to the NCAB Group. READ MORE WHY NCAB GROUP The NCAB Group creates optimum conditions through its extensive purchasing power, and expertise in PCB production. They have complete process ownership via a presence both at the customer’s site and in the PCB production factories. They do not own factories, but they “own” what is most important: the relationship between the customer and the factory. MILITARY SPEC PCBS – HOW TO CREATE ONE

MILITARY SPEC PCBS – HOW TO CREATE ONE

Editorials
MILITARY SPEC PCBS – HOW TO CREATE ONE The term “Military Spec” is sometimes used loosely by people wanting to imply that their product or gadget is tougher than the next guy’s. In other words, the term has taken on a generic role and is applied to products which exceed normal consumer standards. But in the world of electronics manufacturing, “Military Specification” has very specific and established meaning. It can only be used in relation to products manufactured to military specifications laid down and administered by committees and associations set up to ensure compliance. Other areas where equipment has to operate faultlessly under extreme conditions also use very high specifications for manufacturing. We therefore find specifications relating to the aerospace industry and the medical industry, among others. On many occasions…

MICROSECTIONING – PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAIL

[smartslider3 slider=4]   MICROSECTIONING – PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAIL PCBs Are Critical Components – Microsectioning is one of the Measures Taken Against Failure In our high-tech world, it’s easy to over look the importance of the humble printed circuit board. Buried in each electronic gadget or appliance there’s always at least one PCB and each one has to be perfect. There’s quite simply no latitude – a PCB fault will kill the device it’s part of. Although they are largely passive platforms for surface mounted components, PCBs are by no means simple in design or easy to make. Many of the fabrication processes have to be precisely controlled in case they destroy the board under construction or cause faults which will surface on the assembly line or in the field.…

St Paul’s Primary School Gets a New Computer Centre

News, Press
By Sandy Mattison On Friday, 3 August 2018, the learners of St Paul’s Primary in Bokaap received a brand new, state-of-the-art computer centre. The centre was formally opened by the Principal, Mrs Mgudlwa, in a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony. The centre is fully equipped with state-of –the-art computers, accessories and software in a fully refurbished room with new workstations, chairs and a luxurious carpet! The story of how the donation of this new centre was made possible is a heart-warming example of what can be achieved when relative strangers share a goal to give children from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to reach their full potential. In early 2017, Sascha Bierberg, Financial Director of Cirtech Electronics, approached Mrs Mgudlwa with the generous offer of 20 computers. The first obstacle to overcome…
